The Velvet Alcove

Intimate. Warm. Cinematic.

The signature booth

A stage curtain your guests step inside.

The Alcove is our original booth and still our most requested. Floor-to-ceiling velvet in deep burgundy or champagne ivory closes behind your guests, and a canopy of warm Edison bulbs does the flattering work. Outside the noise of the reception; inside, a three-second countdown and a print that looks like a film still.

It seats up to eight per session, prints dye-sub strips in under twenty seconds, and our attendant assembles a guest book through the night — one strip for the guest, one for your book, with a handwritten note beside it.

You keep the book

I doubted a photo booth could feel this refined. Then the curtain, the warm light and prints still warm in our hands changed my mind. Guests queued all evening and the guest book was full before dessert.
